About
Cybervelia is a Cyprus-based security company founded by Theodoros Danos, focused on offensive security assessments for modern systems. We help organizations understand how their web applications, mobile apps, and connected products actually fail under real-world attack conditions. Our work goes beyond automated scans and checklist testing, focusing instead on realistic threat models, trust assumptions, and attack paths across system boundaries. In particular, the company supports BLE security auditing, holding a strong niche and deep technical expertise in assessing Bluetooth Low Energy implementations, device communication flows, and protocol-level weaknesses in connected ecosystems.
Our penetration testing engagements are driven by hands-on research and real assessment experience, covering application security, system-level vulnerabilities, protocol-level weaknesses, and specialized BLE security evaluations for IoT and embedded devices. We work closely with engineering and security teams to tailor each assessment to the system under test, providing clear, evidence-backed findings and actionable remediation guidance that teams can apply in production environments.
Cybervelia also develops Cybervelia Playground, a hands-on platform designed for security professionals who want to deepen their practical skills. The platform provides technical labs and training environments focused on real attack scenarios, including topics such as container security, red teaming, low-level system analysis, and practical BLE attack and defense techniques. Cybervelia Playground reflects the same research-oriented, practical approach used in our client work, bridging the gap between learning, experimentation, and real-world security testing.
